Research Poster Presentations
The AIChE Undergraduate Student Poster Competition provides students with the opportunity to present their research through both visual and oral communication. Participants will share their work with fellow students, industry professionals, and judges in a clear, professional setting
Eligibility:
This competition is open to undergraduate students who are members of AIChE student chapters

Registration and Submission Deadline:
All participants must complete the registration form attached to this section and submit their abstracts by March 20nd at 11:59 PM

Poster Requirements:
Posters should present information in a clear and organized manner, using readable text and effective visuals. Each poster must demonstrate strong motivation for the research, highlight key results, and include thoughtful analysis

Poster Design Guidelines:
Content should be logically structured and easy to follow. Figures, charts, and images should support the material and be understandable on their own without extensive explanation

Oral Presentation:
Participants will deliver a concise 2–3 minute verbal overview of their poster. Presenters should clearly explain their work, emphasize important points, and handle questions or interruptions smoothly
Paper Presentations
Participate in the AIChE Regional Student Paper Presentation Competition and present your research or technical advancements in chemical engineering to a panel of academic and industry professionals

Eligibility:
This competition is open to undergraduate students who are active members of AIChE student chapters

Presentation Topics:
Presentations should focus on original research, advancements in chemical engineering, or plant design projects
​
Judging Panel:
Presentations will be evaluated by a panel consisting of faculty members, industry professionals, and representatives from local AIChE sections

Registration and Abstract Deadline:
All participants must complete the registration form attached to this section and submit their abstracts by March 20th at 11:59 PM

Presentation Format and Rules:
Each presenter will have 15 minutes to deliver their presentation, followed by a 3–5 minute question-and-answer period. Presenters must have played a significant role in the research being presented and are expected to use clear, concise, and professional visuals
