Chem E Car

The ChemE Car Competition will be held at the Museum at Texas Tech University and will allow students to showcase their engineering design skills in a fun and competitive atmosphere. This competition provides teams with the opportunity to advance their ChemE Car to the national level and represent their institution at the AIChE Annual Student Conference.

Registration

Compete against other schools in the southwest region this conference with your ChemE Car! Some notable information for this year’s conference:

Ensure your car is registered with National AIChE prior to registering for regionals
Team EDPs are due to National AIChE by Saturday, February 21st, which is five weeks prior to the conference
The ChemE Car Team Registration Fee will be $180
We will be ordering chemicals straight to TTU campus, as your team describes them in your team’s registration form
- We ask that you find your required chemicals on either ThermoFisher or Sigma Aldrich Chemical Supplier websites and provide the corresponding catalog number to streamline our ordering process
